Pubs are Zizkov phenomena. There isn't one place in Prague where you would be able to find them in such a concentration. You may be choosing form luxurious premises, but class "four" pubs are not an exception as well. Each of them has its own charm and often also a stable clientele of barflies. And such as the legendary cellars in the Old Town, Zizkov pubs attract also visitors from other places. You will be able to find 60 carefully selected places on these pages. Some of them are not located directly in Zizkov, but are scattered very close by, and it would be a pity to simply skip them.

The numbers, which are below the main entrance photo, will lead you to the photos of the interior, the garden etc. The photos are NOT modified or improved in any way, as it often happens in many official pages, thus you can see, how is the place looking in real life and operation.

Akropolis

	Eleven years old restaurant in cult Palace Akropolis. The restaurant is situated on the sidewalk level, over the concert hall. Artwork of František Skála is on display. Very popular place among artists and musicians.	PRICES:

Amores Perros

	Amores Perros is a Mexican restaurant and a cocktail bar, where you can have all the great Latin-American food. Many different tastes of tortillas, pasta, carne, salads, etc. After the food you can enjoy Corona or Desperádo beer. If you are not a big fan of beer, there is a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Everything here is a bit more expensive, but you have to consider that hardly anywhere else can you get such a specific and large selection of food and beverages. The restaurant is divided into two parts. The upper one is a bit smaller than the lower one.	PRICES:

Amsterdam

	The pub is divided into two parts. The first one has a traditional "pub" design, the other one is intended for mainly younger guests. The entertainment is secured by two calcetto tables and darts. The overhead projection shows mainly music channels, and you can also choose your own music in jukebox, listening to it from three large comfortable sofas. But the main advantage of "Amstr" is the closing hours - at 4 a.m.- and pleasant service.	PRICES:

Balabar

	A little pub, cracked on the outside and dark inside. The interior is fairly new and the TV is mostly on if there is a good sport programme. In case you want to "hide" with just a few friends, Balabar is the place, also thanks to very pleasant service. But if the number of friends is larger, unfortunately BB won't be of any use for you... Belzepub

	Belzepub is a place for the younger generation and students. Upstairs there are three table soccers and two cosy corners with comfortable leather sofas. If you go down the spiral stairs, you will find couple of tables with benches and a bar. B-pub is perfect for long after sun-set parties and those who don' t want to pay high prices and are at the same time comfortable with the fact that there are no table cloths or waiters in a suit. B. is sort of a "younger brother" of Luis Cyphre.	PRICES:

Bowling Bar U Viktorky (Bowling Bar At Viktorka's)

	This pub is a little exception from all other listed here, but it is to be mentioned at least for two reasons. The first is high quality bowling alleys and the second one is the closing time- 2 a.m. Clean, modern environment, which is unfortunately lacking some sense of cosiness. Sometimes bigger events for more people are organised here, and you can entertain yourself also with darts or pool apart form bowling. Non-sport folks may watch MTV on a wide screen projection. Fotbalová hospoda (Football pub)

	This pub is situated in the area of Viktorka Žižkov football stadium. There are two rooms, each for cca 30 people. The interior is decorated in football style and 3 TV's provide non-stop football broadcasts. There is a pleasant service, good prices and a couple of meals to choose from.
