Lexicon

Pubs are Zizkov phenomena. There isn't one place in Prague where you would be able to find them in such a concentration. You may be choosing form luxurious premises, but class "four" pubs are not an exception as well. Each of them has its own charm and often also a stable clientele of barflies. And such as the legendary cellars in the Old Town, Zizkov pubs attract also visitors from other places. You will be able to find 60 carefully selected places on these pages. Some of them are not located directly in Zizkov, but are scattered very close by, and it would be a pity to simply skip them.

The numbers, which are below the main entrance photo, will lead you to the photos of the interior, the garden etc. The photos are NOT modified or improved in any way, as it often happens in many official pages, thus you can see, how is the place looking in real life and operation.

U Študáka (At a Student)

U Tomáše Štítného (At Tom Štítný)

	A genuine Zizkov pub with an amazing waitress. Tap Zlatopramen is for a really good price. You can have a small meal as well. Unfortunatelly, heavy smoke is prevalent most of the time.	PRICES:

U Tří prasátek (At three Piggies)

	Formerly called At Havel's, now a pub all inlaid in wood. The food can go quite expensive, but the premises are not fumous and the service is prompt. Ideal for family celebrations.	PRICES:

	A restaurant with a wide screen, relaxed atmosphere. Various celebrations and parties can be organised here. Popular prices.	PRICES:

U Vyndanejch (At Takeouters)

	A very nice small pub with two mini-salons below the pavement level. They have Svijansky Knize and Knezna tap beer that is nowhere else in Zizkov. Friendly service and nice interior frame (form) a very pleasant atmosphere where you can contemplate on life:).	PRICES:

U Vystřelenýho oka (At the Shot-Out Eye)

	An original pub belonging inherently to the spirit of Zizkov and a meeting place of the local elite. It is one of the destinations of the Zizkov Mardi Gras crowds. A "popular" programme Katovna (Deuces') may have been shot here once or twice...	PRICES:

V Kapslovně (In a shooting range)

	A restaurant with a wide range of dishes for unmatched prices. Visited mostly during lunch and dinner time. I can't really suppress the feeling of it being more of a canteen than a restaurant, though. Closed Saturdays and Sundays.	PRICES:

WingsClub

	Something between a restaurant, pub and aircraft museum. Really. The interior is very nicely decorated with parachutes, logbooks, singed photos by 2nd World War pilots. Very unique exhibits indeed. A real aircraft museum might envy those. Service is pleasant, prices are a bit higher though I definitely recommend going there at least once.	PRICES:
